I doubt these threads will stop anytime soon.
I suspect most of these "accidental" updates are second hand Switch buyers who of course don't have "any" backups.
Then again there is even a suggestion system when creating new topics about existing ones. Will this deter new repeated threads? Apparently no.

Developers need to find a way to downgrade for real not just to put a "bandit" on top of the real problem.

People will try the present solution and they will f.up that's normal.

Still hoping to see your Switch Noob Hacking Guide some day, Kafluke. Your Wii U guide was the best, and I'm sure you would do a good job on a Switch guide too. I probably wouldn't learn that much from it myself, but it would be so beneficial to the whole community. And gbatemp needs an in-house guide.

and what do you want to do when Mario Maker 2 comes?
because they force us to pay 20 euros per year for this
Apparently for the Wii U version, it was possible to inject levels into your save file so I can only imagine a similar tool will be made for people who don't want to connect the console to the Internet, let alone own the game.

the whole online system in mariomaker with the stars as a rating from other users for my levels is addictive and just fun. it is not just the lvls to play from which the fun emerges ...
if you want to upload more levels you need more stars you need to make better levels and stay active that other people see you and more play your levels
it's not a real alternative to play it offline

its funny sometimes to makes levels no one can beat;) but i have to beat it before i can upload it to the server ;) you see people dont get it in 100000 trys

But if iirc, there are already downgrades to 6.1 from 7.0.0 due to armosphere avoiding fuse count and not using new tsec stuff
Yeah, as I said in the OP you can still downgrade but you'll have to always boot to RCM and launch a custom payload from that point on.

Yep. My "brother/cousin/friend" just dropped a box of Hakko soldering iron elements on the floor and cracked every single one of them.

This is shaping up to be a very pretty day... :(

Are you being for real, cause that's hard to believe, DK is Nintendo and made in japan, Sea of thieves was from Microsoft, in America. I'm not calling you a liar, just didn't know.
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Ok yes they were both made by Rare, but DK was from Rare back then, Rare now is owned by MS. So makes since.
