Easiest current way to edit saves?
Well, if the edit you want to make is something simple like adding an event or buffing a Pokemon's stats, PKSM has Sun & Moon support, so you can do all your editing right on the console. I think it supports the latest firmware, so that shouldn't be an issue.

I tried JKSM, (the .3dsx version), and for whatever reason it didn't work. Still, save_manager seems more painless. It's literally a 1-step save manager.

Save_manager gave me a corrupted save jksm gave me none at all

I like keeping backups of my main on my HDD, backing it up every so often. I prefer the jksm/ftp method, but I can appreciate some may just want a quick edit procedure. Thanks for the tutorial!
