PS5 can't update stuck in safe mode

Hi all
My ps5 is stuck in a safe mode. I can't update using the full file from the sony site and when I try I get error code SU-101252-1 and the message something went wrong. The only option it gives me is to restart and the loop continues.

Where do I even start? Sony aren't interested and it's out of warranty.

dunno man other than does the ps5 have recovery and normal update files or is there only one?

I think there's an update + a full recovery but not 100% sure
