Hardware ps3 controller

I just resently bought a ps3 contoler and the right analog seems to be always going down................... its specially annying when i play cod as the player keeps on looking down.................

can anyone tell me a way to fix it................ or should i just buy a new one

Well I have heard the contacts sometimes do this between the stick and never object. I don't exactly know of any place to get it repaired or if opening and replacing the contacts is a option since you have to edit the motherboard physically and that sounds retarded and impossible. The entire motherboard has to be replaced due to how sony set it up and since they are rare it is pretty much pointless.

I say your best bet is to trade it in and get a new one or used.

Edit: If you recently bought it exchange it maybe.
