No idea what your problem is.
  • Most PS2 games are single layer DVDs. Any DVD-R should do. No idea if DVD+R require setting the book type to DVD-ROM, but I guess the modchip should boot games anyway. Prefer good quality blank media. I've good experience with Verbatim.
  • Some PS2 games (blue original discs) as well as PS1 games are CDs. Read your legit CDs RAW+Sub96 and write the CD-R in RAW-DAO mode.
  • Few PS2 games use double layer discs. I'm don't know if they cause any trouble. Note that DVD+R DL media are more expensive than single layer.
Consoles may have trouble reading burned media. Try multiple brands if you get read errors. The aging lasers are becoming a problem.

Good luck and have fun!

I don't have any problem, I just want to know which disk I'm going to buy, so I don't buy wrong disk.

Thank you very much and I'm going to buy Verbatim DVD-R😀
For some Games like "Gran Turismo 4" or "Guitar Hero - Metallica" you need Double Layer Discs.
There is also an Patcher you need out there - I think Toxic´s Layer/DVD9 Patcher if I remember correct.
Try to use also Verbatim DVD-R 8.5Gb but unfortunately a little expensive....

Thank you but I live in Norway, so I'm going to find Verbatim DVD-R in shop where I live.

If I may intrude, buy used games, as sometimes the prices you can find them don't even warrant the hassle of burning them.

I got GT 4 for 5 euros, for example. MGS2 for 6.5 delivered at home.

I'd only burn those games that I knew that are not OPL samba compatible or don't offer optimal experience or would be priced unreasonably.

But frankly, all games I found I'd be willing to play are reasonably cheap.

I don't have a wii u anymore to test it myself, but if homebrews are not visible on the wii u menu I think you can press L + R + minus to open the plugin menu, there should be an option called "homebrews on wii u menu" or something similar

    nope

@Xdqwerty you can use a "spawner" function on any object.

  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Or when your player dies, you can say in code, if enemy exists, do nothing, but if enemy does not exist, then create enemy at certain spot. (This would be a pain tho for lots of emeies)

  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Easiest, simple way would be just restart scene, but player would restart from beginning.
