1. where am I putting the.skprx file again? (assuming that's the plugin and I have to add a *kernel line)
vitacheat.skprx should go into ur0:tai (this is where most people put plugins that require kernel-level access).
vitacheat.suprx should go into ux0:tai instead.
2. so will I be editing uro or uxo?(I believe uxo is my sdcard) (assuming is the uro because its internal mem and that's where I put plugins?)
You should only have one config.txt file, which in turn should be on ur0:tai.
If you have a config.txt on ux0:tai, delete it, otherwise SD2VITA won't work.
3. when I do get vitacheat up and running where do I put the cheat files?
You run vitacheat while you are in the game by pressing L + Right (D-Pad).
The codes for the games are stored on .PSV files. Said files are named based on the ID of the game (PCSG00351.psv, for example). These files go into the folder ux0:vitacheat/db/, which should be automatically created once you run vitacheat for the first time (the plugins also creates/checks for them at restart, so you'll probably have them after installing the plugin and restarting your Vita initially).
4. also is do I use the 360.04beta version? (just making sure its the correct one)
It depends on the version your Vita is at.
3.60 users would typically need to use the z04 vitacheat, while 3.67/3.68 user can use the z04, z05 and z06. Do note that the developer stated that there will only be support for FW versions superior to 3.65 starting from z06.
help lol I did as I saw and messed something up. as I reboot I went into hencore, got the option menu, clicked exit (as normal), then it goes to black screen for about 10secs, then shuts off. if I turn back on and try again, everytime in hencore it exits to black screen then shuts off. should I reset tai.config in hencore??? lol idk what happened. had the files in right place. only thing I could think of was I rebooted thru vitashell(as seen in video) , but noticed in writing it says close vitashell then reboot as normal, also saw rebooting or resetting in the actual settings-henkaku. once again thanks for any help.
Yeah, just reset config.txt and try again.
You'll lose your config, but you can disregard any error that you may have made on your config.txt file.
can I edit thru microsd card and just removed everything I put on it (while trying 1st attempt), and delete the line in tai.config.txt? or reset tai thru hencore menu?
Reset config.txt from h-encore menu. Also, I'd recommend using a PC and connecting your vita using vitashell's USB feature. It's easier and it's faster than doing everything from the Vita itself or plugging/unplugging your card, IMO. Really useful if, like me, you have an already made copy of the folder estructure for your Vita partitions; that way you only need to connect your Vita and copy/paste.
