What is your native tongue? What are pronouns like in it?
I speak French originally (yeah, this language that genders inanimate objects...), so there's not yet a neutral pronoun that's really set and widely accepted. There's quite a few tentatives though, one of which (iel) is a mix between the accepted male (il) and female (elle) ones, and used to refer to me by a few family members. But since not everyone is familiar with it or any of the other emerging ones, I'm not insisting on them, as I don't find them to suit me completely anyway ;)
