If it leaks, it leaks. Devs need to get over it and move on. They have no one to blame but themselves.
Secure your stuff and don't give access to untrustworthy people, and you wouldn't have this problem.
It's difficult to judge trustworthiness of a person over the Internet.
If Shanus, SHeLL, camelot, and Dantarion had just never recruited anyone and only worked on it themselves, we would not be even close to where we are now in development.

Yelling and bitching at people who get the leaked file is retarded.
I don't really have a problem with the people getting the leak, it's more the people contributing to the leaking by spreading it around that annoys the fuck out of me.

I didnt leaked anything, a person send me the link for the leak
You have the choice to not download the leak, or even to just not spread it to anyone. Didn't you watch Captain Planet?

If you have a method of creating trustworthy people from random internet users, please do tell everyone since I'm sure lots of people would benefit from such a method.
The leak is fault of the devs. They gave the link to a people who was unwhorty.
Bravo! You effectively refuted the point made by the post you quoted.

Uh yea, if I'm writing a program, I would keep it to myself. If I needed help, I would enlist the help of friends whom I trust.
If I had to enlist the help of random strangers, then I would not be upset if it leaked. Its that simple. No one can be blamed except the devs, they could have stopped it from leaking if they cared that much, plain and simple.
If you were writing a program that is for the general public and actually give a shit about the program, then you would be looking for the most badass people in each category, round them up, and make a project that actually can get somewhere. This is infinitely better compared to a single dev who spends long hours working on each part slowly or a group of friends with some skills in certain categories, but the chances of someone having the luck of gaining trustworthy friends that just happen to have some wicked skills in each category isn't something that occurs often. I'm thinking devs are selected as people who know what they are doing and know how they are going to do it. Generally these sort of people have some reputation and thus are usually considered trustworthy people. In this, it's implied that a public program might as well be awesome rather than limited to mediocrity due to the limitation of a dev's friends who I am definitely not counting as having the ability to personally meet and become close friends with individuals who have said badass skills. In other words, if the devs cared, they would be aiming to provide the best possible to the community (the only problem is the community acting like assholes).

I always assumed everyone on GBATemp had a very high maturity level. By the looks of this thread, I am sadly mistaken.

I've never heard of this project either, but openly doing this kind of thing is just... embarrassing, to say the least.

i play for lols. i never asked anyone to leak it. shitting on someones hard work is quite bold to say... i know damn well if there was a donation to the project, id be one of the first to toss them 50 bucks of my money... the devs know where they wanna go with the project

This topic isn't going anywhere...

If you want the leak, you'll have to find it yourself.
(That means: No PMing)
