So apparently it looks like the .arc files use some type of encryption that requires the knowledge of assembly to break. Oh fun!

I made some Python scripts to unpack and repack .arc files for Potty and Co's translation effort that should do the job (They aren't encrypted FYI, just compressed):

Pretty sure it uses moflex so I'd keep an eye on this thread, he's working on an encoder:

I haven't been able to take a look at the game's RomFS yet, but what format are the models and textures using?
I highly doubt we'll have to change very much if anything related to 3D models and/or textures, but I'm just kinda curious.

We haven't extracted the files yet. I got a guy working on that. I'll post a announcement in the skype group once we have the tools though.

I've installed the game onto my sister's 2DS, when I get home I can try and run the game a bit and see if there's furigana.
