We did NOT work 9 months on the Demo, it was only a few weeks. I had already worked on the Demo for research, so when it became evident that we couldn't solve our technical problems before the end of the year, we decided to translate the Demo to give you guys at least that. We originally planned to release the Demo on Christmas, but couldn't make that - so we worked very hard between Christmas and New Years to make it on time.
Again, you're making the wrong assumption that translation is the the only thing that needs to be done. It's a very big part of it, but right now, it's not the stopper for Episode 1. Once that's out, the following releases should be quicker.
We were able to push out the Demo, because it did not suffer from the issues we have with the main game...

Oh, and Episode 1 is a little longer than it usually is in other AA games...
