presumably on DSTT it wont use YSMenu to load commercial roms(if its even on DSTT), seeing as how SoulAnger was allowed to add commercial rom loading by the company making the card, so it'll be their code, not Yasu's, so no i'm guessing not.

With him being the only one who actually knows while we all guess like a child shaking Christmas presents, trying to guess their contents, I'm sure he gets a kick out of this. Worry not kiddies, Christmas (a figurative term for MENUdo's release date) will come soon.

I can understand what one person said. But giving from the info, I guess I will have to agree with him. That DSTT logo can either be a way to get us thinking it was the DSTT or it could just be there by accident. For all we know, Soul could've used another flashcart but just isn't video taping it.

Well, the whole "DSTT icon in video" is probably because he tested Sabaw Demo or whatever its called on a DSTT. He told us that on the NeoFlash compo release page, said he had it fully working on it, but had no other cards to test with. I think the ak2 stuff in the leaked vid is probably more reliable, but i would like it to be DSTT, because i want to buy a decent card, to replace my Max Media Dock (dont laugh) and the DSTT is about £4 on DealExtreme.

...not for MENUdo, I can wait for it, but for the Flashcard...I want/need one for my DSi, and I hope we will soon at least know the name, and if it's already out (Hey, maybe it's a new one M3Reali ...?) Look at Spinals Comment:

how can you be sure? is this because of the akmenu4 file in the video? because that was already mentioned. Soul_Anger hasn't announced which card it is yet so dont pretend you know for sure.

Oh, and i know it wont be a Datel card - they are absoulute CRAP! On a side note: Has he confirmed its an existing card? Perhaps a new card is being made specially?

Well I've decided its time I stop looking at this thread for at least a couple of months and if this homebrew is still not out then I will completely give up on it. What really got to me is how SoulAnger wouldn't even update us on the real release date or any kind of clue as to what cart might actually be supported...

Seriously I think moonlight has a better way of updating people, even if he is Japanese...

Take it how you want but this really just pisses me off

i assume it'll auot-patch, else it'll be a pretty crap loader, unable to properly load stuff without bothersome prior patching.

Isn't AKAIO exactly the same as the proper AceKard firmware? From my tests of MENUdo, MENUdo will will ANY firmware battle, even MENUdo vs DSision2.

Yeah but DSision 2, doesn't work all that nicely.
AKAIO is the undisputable BEST FIRMWARE EVER! and this might come close, but it will never beat it.
It is designed off the official firmware, but has the enhancement that makes the AceKard the best card on the market. (things like RTS are for losers who can't play games)

I'm sure that there are other people who also want to use this, but really, beat AKAIO? in fact, beat M3 Sakura?

This firmware went from a nice looking project to a flashcard companies desperate attempt to sell.

Yeah, Normmatt added a bootloader. He didn't sell AKAIO to AceKard, to get their bootloader
