Test Stage!
Freaking hell.
Public betas help release the final release because the help of the people that found the bug the developer didn't.
If your so worried about getting bug reports why did you even become a developer.

Aiming for perfection, pft..
Theres games on sale with bugs in it.
Nearly every game would have bugs in from what ive come across.
Get over it, and contuine.

I Dont see whats so hard to understand!

Yes but also this is not a game, it's an application meant for launching NDS applications, games and managing files. Besides, most games do not have as many bugs, the only games I can think of that would have new bugs introduced daily are MMORPGs which are patched daily. Hence... Regression by update. Also there is nothing wrong with a developer wanting to aim for perfection. Besides... Alpha versions are the ones that are supposed to have the bugs in it, Betas are where the bugs are being removed and Release is where bugs are anywhere from slight to non-existance. And yes, Beta does mean test stage, not BUGGY test stage. So be patient and wait like everyone else is. If you hate the project so much, go to other posts instead and post complaints about their homebrew.

You realize, that launching NDS applications, games, and managing files is much harder than developing a game itself - as menudo needs to look through physical files and such. Like how AKAIO needs the _aio folder to run.

That's why commercial roms don't have very many bugs - files can't be corrupted and they can't be changed either. However, physical files face corruption and such - which can cause a buggy menudo.

Just let Soul be - seriously - it's his option whether to release menudo or not. After >65 pages of "RELEASE NAO" it hasn't been released yet.

Me? I realize it, I'm just pointing out the fact to x-mah-D, I tried coding for the DS but I didn't have enough knowledge of C or C++ for it, I only know the Windows/Web Specific coding >_> anyway, I think everyone should just be patient and wait for the release like most of us are. Then everyone will be happy and no more "RELEASE NAO" crap, but unfortunately there will still be those who have never ever attempted to code who believe making applications are easy however for those of you who have never tried coding even once... It's not easy, it takes time and dedication so please... just be patient and wait for till SoulAnger releases. If you think you can make a better app and haven't ever coded before, go ahead and try, but if you don't have the time or determination to dedicate to it, you will fail. Basically what I'm trying to say is, give him a break, it takes alot of time and effort to code something as magnificent as he's already shown us in the videos, not to mention everything needed to launch homebrew applications, commercial roms and to manage things on a Filesystem that isn't even truly supported on the DS without some way of accessing the information, Be patient and let him work, you will not be disappointed. Sorry for the long lecture.

It's okay, dont worry

Patience is the key to success.

Beggars can't be choosers.

So all of you who say "RELEASE NAO" shut up.

Actually, NAO is kind of a noob-joke - like the noobs who don't care about spelling grammar and other junk.

That's why we have NAO.

You spelled, "Now" wrong.
And you didn't have to use that comma.

If you really don't know why he spelled now like that, the reason he did is to show how annoying it is to keep reading the posts of people demanding MENUdo to be released. Most of said people use a lot of internet slang which is hard to read and is also extremely annoying. [/translation]

Ah, thanks for the better explanation.

Menudo is something to look forward to. It's like growing oranges. If you pull it off too soon, the orange won't and will never be ripe. The first impression is the last impression.

ooo Good metaphor, That was awesome, better than anything I could've ever come up with

Oranges are good....

Anyways, Brian is 100% right. The first impression's gonna be the one that will stick, and Soul is trying his hardest to make it a good one. Keep up the good work, Soul!

My first impression is and will be: "awesome". That's what I thought when I saw the video. I can wait, because I know that Soulanger won't rush, or destroy this first impression from the video. Come on, we waited half a year, so we can wait a little bit longer
wink.gif
. I'm pretty shure it won't take that long again
smile.gif
. And it's good to have something to look forward to, right?

Oh, and I had an dream of MENUdo for DSi...
Maybe when it get's hacked, he could make a small "Channel", and MENUdo will read the files from the SD-Slot...inclusive comercial roms...ohh..that would be sooo awesome...Well...sadly, like always..I'm dreaming..

Anyways, like I've said before, take your time Soulanger, nearly nobody (except some Noobs) rushes you

well, what i meant was, so many people made you rush dision2, it was buggy as fuck and people turned away from it before they even tried future versions of it...
That's harsh words man. "buggy as fuck", I used Dsision2 and I'm still using it actually and have not found any problems with it. Maybe I can't use the cheat directly from the Dsision2 menu but that don't bug me. Yeah some people maybe did turn away from it but you don't know how many did and did not. You should show some appreciation for what programmers do. Its all in the process of creating new stuff. There will always be bugs to fix and improve the overall quality. It just seems that you are not one of those people who are patient enough to see Dsision2 to the final results when it comes about.

After reading the comment by fgghjjkll, I have DSided never to update DSision2 ever again.
