Well if it's gonna a cheap, yet effective card I'm gonna say DSTT or AceKard. Hell, AK2i and menuDO? DSi-compatible with a sexy menu? You can't go wrong!

I belive its real I mean theres that Shitty neo flash demo and that Amazing video those beautiful screens people need to chill realize they might have to spend 20-30$ bucks on a flash cart with the Best menu ever that loads commercial roms. Not that any of you will download games you don't own that if you had to buy you would pay 20-35$ for. hmm if you cant spend a few bucks perhaps you should reconsider how your spending your time bitching about this and spend your time making the cash. Also it would be impossible for SoulAnger to Make a homebrew that loads commercial roms on all flash carts and I dont mean to insult but I don't think he has that kind of coding capability.

Please don't Rush it take your Sweet time or at least work on it more After you enter it in the compo.
 
I'm hoping it's the AceKard2, simply because I'm going to order one in the next few days. But hoping and guessing which flashcart menuDO will run on, is completely pointless.

sure its his project but compared to other home brew devs its different they roll out betas alot

Also if this is the madest brew ever i wouldnt mind voIP cause svsip sucks...

+ dude that wants menudo on dsi i dont think you can run homebrew on a dsi cause of different processors and stuff but i could be worng
 
SoulAnger - I think it's time we've a pep talk, young man. Don't let these non-believers get ya down. Just rub it in their faces when its released and dance around in the menuDO-compatible cart while they're probably stuck with 3 icon interface - I MEAN R4!.

Jokes aside, neither do I believe nor disbelieve in menuDO. Only time will tell...well, technically soulanger will too but whatever! So at the moment I am a standstill. Things like this happens when you overhype (no offense soulanger) when it's not even released. Disappointment should always come before satisfaction in my opinion.

EDIT: Oh and, different processors as in more powerful equipment. Wouldn't you say the akmenu4 in the Acekard firmwares are homebrew? I'd think so.

People droped R4's long ago when you could get a DSTT for 6 bucks..
He can dance are it little DS for all i give..
I've lost interest is this homebrew...even DPhone is funner then this..

i'm pretty sure it will be the EDGE that gets menudo. as it is cheap and i'm pretty sure the only flash cart which has links to the philippines (tagalog language).

if that's true i'd be soooooo AWESOME!

regardless, just continue the project as you always intended and ignore all the flamers, soul. i know this is gbatemp and so there are people who expects everything should be presented to them free... but they will eventually come to see that nothing in this world comes for free. if there wasn't any monetary motivation behind menudo to begin with, the project may not have even started!

and anyway, it's not like soul is charging the end users for menudo. i mean there's still a free version that can be dldi patched for most flashcards, and i doubt he'd charge for the version that is released as a firmware either. just take it that he wrote menudo more specifically for a particular flashcard that's all... well, i don't see anyone complaining that YSMenu or AKAIO or moonshell(aka sakura) don't work for all cards available in the market, so why should you when it comes to menudo. i'm not a coder, but i can understand how much work goes into just trying to get ROM loading working, and i think some are being unreasonable by blaming soul for being selfish and making it work for only 1 particular card. COME ON, GROW UP!

didn't mean to offend anyone if i had just done so... just wanted to post my 2 cents after reading the past few pages...

I didn't even think of the EDGE. I guess that's also a possibility.
OH GOD
Since the EDGE is a cyclo clone, would there be any way to get it on the cyclo as well?
 
I don't mean to sound like a douche but I was really only interested in this project thinking it would be available for everyone. I recognize the hard work and applaud his effort, but if this isn't gonna be available for all cards instead of a specific one then I think I'm going to have to end my interest here. No use getting worked over something I won't be able to use after all. Such is life in homebrew communities though; when something seems too good to be true, it usually is.

For those people bitching about how this wont work on every flashcart, STFU no firmware works on everything, no TV remote works on EVERYTHING, seriously If thats what your were after and your not going to use it, Good! we dont want you to use it so GTO.

I really hate all these n00bs expecting miracles.
