Hacking Program file location for Wii

So I've finally ended up modding my Wii with ModMii and now I'm planning of buying a USB HDD (500GB). Should I run everything from the USB HDD or keep the SD for loader files etc?

Some homebrew only works from an SD card, so you should keep it. USB loaders can be placed on the usb drive just fine though.

Basically what I want to do is make some of the games load faster. Is the USB loader a good option to loading games from discs? Which one loads the games faster?

From discs? That makes 0 difference, as its the DVD that determines the speed then.

1 cfg usbloader, great for all/most games. easy set up. large theme base.
2 usb loader gx. same as above, but can be buggy some times.
3 wiiflow, older revs, work pretty good. 2.2 still has a few bugs, not that many themes(2.2).
then there are a few i don't know any thing about. best thing, i can say, is download all of them an see what the one is you like the best. imho, cfg is by far the best, fast load time,an not that all confusing.
