Hardware Problems with my new sd2vita...

So recently I bought myself a sd2vita... I have Cfw and got the drivers set up but the adapter never works...(to be exact it worked once out of all the times I tried) I might as well say the adapter looks a tad different from the one I saw in this video

Here's the pic of my adapter

If you guys know what's up please respond (I have not been in gbatemp recently
