Hacking Problems with action replay codes for pokemon white

I'm using an acekard 2i and akaio 1.7.1 or whatever the latest version is. But the problem is whenever I click "cheats" on pokemon white, the flashcart freezes.

I have the correct game ID and i'm using the usrcheat.dst and saving it, but I dunno what's happening. I believe it may be the game title, I originally had it as "bpokemonw_patched" then changed it to "pocket monsters white" and then to "pokemon white". None of these worked though. That brings me to another problem, when I changed the name of the game, and the .SAV file too, the rom didnt load the save file, even though both of them had the same name.

This happens to me as well on Pokemon Black. It was fixed in AKAIO 1.8 and a public release should be soon. (I thought I read somewhere that someone was able to fix it without 1.8 but I don't remember)

As for your save problem, make sure that the extension of the save file is a lowercase *.sav and you are certain the names match.

I saw a similar post that you responded to and you said:
"Download the latest TempDB and edit that."

I got the Pokemon Black, White, and Diamond code lists to open without crashes.
The workaround is stupid but effective.
When you want to create cheats for Black or White or any other new game MAKE SURE THAT YOU ADD ONLY ONE GAME AT A TIME.

The method is like this:
Download Latest TEMPDB -> Open with R4CCE -> Add Pokemon Black game and cheats -> Save Cheat Database -> Close R4CCE ->Re-open R4CCE -> Add Pokemon White Game and cheats -> Go to File (or was it edit?) and click the Organize Cheat List by name -> Save Cheat Database -> Insert USRCHEAT.DAT into proper AKAIO folder ->Open CC Folder -> Delete any files inside (This re-sets the Cheat Listing so that you are able to access all new cheats.) -> Load Cheats -> Go catch yourself a Lv 100 Victini and STFU.

I got akaio 1.8 and got the clean white rom to load cheats. However, my english patched one won't. Anyone gotten an english patched one to work?

You have to use R4CC and change the game ID... Patched games usually get the wrong ID.
