Hacking Problems Downloading from DS -> PC

I'm having a problem with my Acekard 2. I'm not 100% sure if this is the right section but oh well.

Information:
Silver DS Phat, Acekard 2, AKAIO 1.5,

Problem:
Every time I use a application like DS Backup Tool Wi-Fi, DS Backup Tool FTPd, and DSFTP, I can transfer from my PC to the DS, but can't seem to get anything from my DS (Download from DS -> PC).

What I've Tested:
I've tried using a different PC (with different OS), different FTP Servers/Router settings, different OS Menus (AKAIO 1.5 and Official Firmware (4.18)), different applications (see "Problem:"), different routers (D-Link, NETGEAR), different router settings (different ports, different Firewall settings (yes I've tried turning off all security)), different internet connections/no internet connection at all (local only). The only thing I haven't tested is a different DS or a different flash cart.

Other Notes:
Wi-Fi works fine. I can put stuff on my DS via DSFTP and I can play games and homebrew online.

Costly Solution:
Buying this product to backup save files.

Unknown, please help. I have searched everywhere (Google, GBATemp) only to find unanswered questions.
