Gaming Problem with GTA Vice City

I downloaded GTA Vice City from steam, and have used it before from disk on my PC so I know it works.
I changed the resolution from 800x600x16 to 1920x1080x32, and got an unhandled exception.
Now whenever I start the game, I get the intro video and then it closes, offering no error.
I tried uninstalling/reinstalling and still it happens.
Any way I can fix it?

Make a shortcut for it on your desktop and type -windowed / -w / -window after the .exe.

It will force it into window mode and hopefully you can atleast start it and change stuff within then.

Doesn't work, Probably because it's a steam shortcut.

Try, from within Steam, right click on the game, Properties, Set Launch Options..., the code JohnLoco posted should go there.

The settings for GTA Vice City are stored in .../My Documents/GTA Vice City User Files/gta_vc.set . Try deleting that file to see if it helps.

The folder is empty...?!

You could try deleting the whole folder then.
