Ok thanks tried formatting exfat via pc then switch nothing changes but I read something on here someone said format by pc with ntfs then put it in the switch and allow switch to format but never had to do this before so not sure

Format the card as FAT32 using a PC. Take a screenshot, tell me if it shows up on SD.

1. Let the Switch format the SD card.
2. Shut down your Switch, and remove the SD card.
3. Put the SD card in your card reader
1. On Windows
a. Copy the boot.dat to the root of your SD card
2. On Mac OS (ownership flags need to be set manually when using Mac OS)
a. Copy the boot.dat to the root of your SD card
b. Execute the following command: sudo chflags -R arch /Volumes/<InsertNameOfSdVolumeHere>
4. Put the SD card back into your Switch
5. Press power + volume up
6. Put the USB-C cable into your computer & Switch
7. Insert the payload

Ok thanks I’ll try it tonight when I get home is that two see if the sd card reader is working
Yep confirmed all screenshots appear on the sd card

What do you mean by b always used sx never needed to connect switch to pc

Now extract boot.dat to SD and inject the payload.
Been doing that for the past 2 weeks nothing

Are you using a Mac or PC to transfer the boot.dat to your SD card?
Pc

Wondering if it’s the sd card reader in my pc I’d really doubt it though

umm since it is windows.. do you have file extensions enabled as visible? Just want to check you don't have a file named ''boot.dat.dat''

the other thing is that there may be multiple partitions on the SD card due to no fault of your own and the Switch cannot see the files.

ok as MANY people have said a couple of times on here now.. FORMAT THE CARD IN THE SWITCH.

Then remove the SD card, put it in your card reader on the PC and copy the files (down load the files fresh once again, just in case).

I’ve done that so many times now it’s getting beyond a joke

Could you delete the Nintendo folder, reinsert the SD into the Switch, try taking a screenshot and see if the folder appears again?

If that folder is re-created, I am truly lost. Try setting up a different CFW.
I did what you said and the folder reappeared on the sd card with all the screenshots the only thing left to try is redownload the boot.dat but the team xecutor website has been down for a few days now and who knows if it will ever come back

I found something interesting I formatted the sd card in windows to exfat fine then I formatted card via switch and put it back in pc when I click properties it tells me it’s fat not exfat this isn’t right is it switch is on 6.2

There’s an issue with something you are doing. Have a friend Teamviewer in and look at your SD card. I can’t really support this through text chat.

No worries thanks for your help appreciate it have my sons switch set up exactly the same way by the same computer and his works flawlessly the only difference being his switch is 6.1 mine is on 6.2 so real tough one ..

ok.. so if HIS works.. pull HIS SD card out and try it in your sWitch.. it might be your SD slot in your switch is stuffed.

Stupid question, but, did you buy Sx os twice?

Because you'd need a different boot.dat for each console.

Just my 2 cents though.
