How do you know the 8th step isn't appearing unless you've already downgraded? Lol After the all the CIAs are installed it should reboot on its own

Wait, the 8 steps appear when i press the Y button?

What is the best to downgrade?
SafeSysUpdater
or...
sysUpdater?

Because i got only one 3DS, and i don't want to brick it, i can't add a hardmod, etc...

You've got it all wrong man ;p Once you press downgrade, the sysUpdater will install the CIAs(downgrade), and then reboot the system. The 8 steps are just given so that you don't mess up Lol Your safest bet would be Safesysupdater, as it checks all your files if they're correct, checks MD5 and all, and then downgrades :)

OMG, so I don't have any problem with the homebrew?
Jesus

Ok, i will try the downgrade with SafeSysUpdater
And, can i save my badge?

P.S: Thanks :P

soo oot should be fine?
Try what @vb_encryption_vb said first, :
Everyone is so quick to say update via safe mode. Thats not the only option. Use cubic ninja to get into homebrew and relaunch sysupdater. Once exploit finally triggers it will install missing cia. Ive personally done this.

Oot isn't in the list, so no. Only those listed there will work I suppose? (Presuming the above suggestion didn't work in the first place :P)

But, tommorow, i've tried with SafeSysUpdater, and the homebrew has bugged.
I have quit the homebrew, and i'm very lucky, my 3ds is not brick

So, I have checked the MD5, and it's good for all, so i can use sysUpdater normal?

Ok, very thanks, and it's a low-brick, i will obligate to update on 10.5?
Hard brick, i know it's finish :ohnoes:

Yeah, it should be good, but just curious, did the safe sysupdater freeze when you were in the middle of downgrading? Or did it freeze at "init ->" ?

Anyway

Ok i will click on Y now, clicked

Oh

Failed to get CIA file info!
What i do?

Then nothing has happened, you can just hard-reset the 3ds and try again :)

EDIT: Keep trying again and again, this takes some time Lol You should eventually downgrade. If it persists for a long time, then try using another entry point :)

Check again if the CIAs are in right place (\updates), but it should be because Safe sysupdater gave you the tthumbs up. Just keep trying again, it'll eventually work Lol :p
