Hacking priiloader straight to usb loader gx?

is it possible to use priiloader to boot my wii straight to usb loader gx? ... and if so how?

Just on priiloader menu --> install file --> install the usb loader gx dol file
Priiloader settings --> autoboot settings --> installed file
i think thats it if i remember correctly

This will work but I remember having some issues doing it this way so I used CrazyIntro (get it from Wiibrew wiki) and that allowed me to boot a menu at boot time so I could press buttons on the wiimote and select usb loader, triiforce, sys menu, homebrew channel etc. It seemed to work better if I set it to boot the channel of usb loader or triiforce as opposed to the .dol file, not sure why. It might be something for you to look at also. If you want I can send you my CrazyIntro config. Let me know dude.

The best way to autoboot in priiloader is through a forwarder dol. That way you won't have to keep installing new files through priiloader every time USBLoader GX is updated. There have been issues with the original GX forwarder crashing in the new versions of priiloader but there is a bootable forwarder here:

the usb loader GX, through preloader messed up the WII starting, i got code dumps up the butt. I highly reccomend that if you want the autoboot to usb GX, I would make sure your HD you are using doesn't "sleep", aka turns off when not in use. Or you always turn the system off to the "red light", not the yellow, or ember light.

I updated my Preloader 0.29 to Priiloader 0.30 (0.3) and my wonderful USBLoader GX would no longer autoboot (stack dumps).
Your link allows USBLGX to function, HOWEVER: I DO get a bunch of onscreen text during bootup, something like:

"IOS 236 not found, using 36" and a bunch of other text.

Is there any way around this? I would like a "clean" boot.

Can I GO BACK to Preloader 0.29?

UPDATE:

I tinkered with it and eventually reinstalled Preloader 0.29 whereupon USBLGX (the Preloader version) loads "cleanly" again. Easy.

I am probably missing the beauty of Priiloader....whatever it might be.

the latest unreleased beta version of priiloader has fixed forwarding... so any installed files that worked on preloader will also work on this latest priiloader

be warned, this is still a beta... although I and a few others are using it and it works perfectly.

Sorry to bump this old thread but, I'm trying to autoboot usbl gx with Priiloader 0.7.
I'm Trying to do this by installing the usb loader gx file seleteble withing Priiloader 0.7.

When trying to boot the installed file priiloader hangs.
Is there a solution?

Usb loader gx has the best compatibilty atm. FYI.
For instance it can play Driver SF without problems.

I mainly use CFG loader, but GX is nicer for the kids.
Also ALL options are maintainable through it's GUI.
If I was able to autoboot right into it I'm set.

So yes 2011 is Right up to date.
And so is USB loader GX.

It's the official channel forwarder Title id is: UNEO

Priiloader 0.7 lets you install from the apps folder but the official .dol just hangs my Wii.

What would be the easiest way to do this now? I don't want to have to update anything in Priiloader when I update USB Loader GX.

Are there any updated forwarders out there that I could use?

Just install the previously linked dol in Priiloader. That will forward you to GX so you can keep updating.

So I got priiloader installed and the latest version of usbloader, and the forwarder installed. When I start up my wii, it goes to the priiloader screen where I have to select what i want to boot. I have the uneo forwarder installed. I select that forwarder and it boots fine to usbloader. When I exit a game, it goes back to usbloader. When I shut down the wii and turn it back on, it boots to usbloader. Now here is my issue - after i shut down my wii and come back to it a few hours later, it goes back to the priiloader screen. It is like priiloader forgets what to do after 3 or more hours. The priiloader settings are set up to always boot to usbloader and return to it. Any ideas?
