That was the reason I moved to 4.0 thinking it will be the new base after system menu 3.2...

@Jacobeian : Since IOS interface (ioctl calls) is same I think it should work losing the enhancements... but of course with official update you can't use IOS 30 with 4.0 since IOS 30 is now a stub

Patched IOS 60 means possibly you can do in memory patching of ios'es from preloader in this new version....
It's like ios downgrader on request...

As far as the patch goes, possibly it would be trucha patch...

I'd heard D-Jay, the developer of "MiiWii" will add Preloader to his Installation, so it can run under System Menu 4.0 (does he has the SOURCE of PRELOADE?!) omfg -.-

Well some ios versions are dedicated to system menu, some to shop channel... To save space nintendo occassionaly replaces old ios'es with stubs...

This is a fairly small ios, Ninty doesn't delete them but puts a small ios, I don't know if it actually works or not...

Possibly in the next update we'll see ios 50 to be stubbed too

I heard that at this beta stage, the insallation is still very risky. What IOS should be patch to be able to install cios_usb2(.dol) under fw 4.0U? Or can't anyone make a WAD for this? A bit off topic, but maybe that when that preloader is out, I would be able to temporary be on 3.2U and install it the proper way?
