Just fyi theres a holdup with the GLES2 builds that I didn't get to investigate yet.
Might just gonna throw out the GL build in the meanwhile..

Is there a way to get 2x res working for most titles? I'm not looking at God of War.

Just looking for the most optimal settings with performance in mind but also that bump up the graphics a bit.

I'm using the last version as of today (Mar, 15) and having no problems using 2x resolution + 2x textures (hybrid) even with an underclock on CPU, GPU, and RAM (Switch Lite on Atmosphere, using a forwarder). Didn't change any settings besides the res and texture upscaling, tested this on Persona 3, Tactics Ogre, and Trails in the Sky.

I had trouble before (one year ago, when I last tested) with the then current version, using SX OS on full ram mode, with tactics ogre - it never reached 60fps so audio was crap and game was unplayable due to that (unless you love games with audio off and jitter).

Hello friends, I have downloaded PPSSPP from the official website and is version 1.9.3, but here is 1.10.3, I have been testing both and in games like GTA and God of War the PPSSPP 1.9.3 is better, it is normal or I must modify something in version 1.10.3 to get better performance?

i'm in the same boat for this one, i ended up using the PPSSPP_GLES2.nro from 1.9.3 on 1.10.3 , it ends up corrupting all the menus, but thats how i get the best performance for GTA

if you want to play gta desperately, just use switch root android, its not worth playing gta games on HOS ppsspp anyway (except for chinatown)

You mean play the android ports? Or ppsspp on android?

Also i'm not really desperate, if i was i'd wip out my OG phat psp and my copy of gta:vc but vice city stories and burnout racing are my two favorite games on psp, and its kind of nice to see them run on the switch

Meh so since I didnt make much progress lately just gonna drop it here w/o changelog until i finished yet another rebase (few vertex jit fixes) and the GLES stuff...

Dont forget to update assets to the bundled ver, doesn't include my default cfg either so make sure u install the normal older release before this

Drag & drop the switch folder to the root of your SD, overwriting every file.
If you don't copy my controls.ini, you will need to remap your controls as it defaults to keyboard values.
Assets are bundled, so you don't have to bother with that.
