Hey guys, I know this is kind of an unpopular question but would it be possible to backport this homebrew to the Wii U once it's released? AFAIK, the Wii U never got a Video Player homebrew so this would be super appreciated. I'm asking this because it should be fairly easy to do so along with the use of:

Perhaps we should get this to stable version on the switch before attempting to port it to other systems.

Please guys, it is a release but as you see it has still some problems with playing some videos, maybe is too early to ask for 10 special extra features

Most "problems" should be fixed by launching pPlay from an homebrew loader installed as an nsp, as stated in the readme an multiple post here! Tomorrow I'll release a new version with a few fixes, I'll take a look if I can (legally) build an nsp too.

Thats the problem then :/ You can fix that by setting the buffer to "Low", but it will prevent some files to play correctly.
Oh, so the HBL .NSP will solve the problem...? thanks, now the question... where do i get it? Haha

As someone pointed out, I think newer atmosphere and sx os should unleash all the memory, so I'm not sure how it works yet, I'll have to study this.

Just created a NSPForwarder with NSP2NRO. Used the icon from the github and the following tid: 05000A0000220000. Install as usual, the path on your sdcard for it to work has to be "/switch/pplay/pplay.nro".

Edit: Forwarder was causing issues with buffer settings so I removed it. Use that instead: https://gbatemp.net/threads/homebrew-menu-loader-legal-nsp.518433/

Thanks! I guess that's one thing less on my todo list :) I'll update my first post with a link to your message tomorrow.
