That's what I wanted to use pointer codes for MK8 to change to say Gold Mush are using pointer codes different how do you type those in.

open up recheats.txt
delete everything in it
add your pointer code
close recheats.txt
open cheats.txt
delete everything in it
close cheats.txt

launch cheats.py inside the pyGecko directory

profit!

Player 1 position modifier for MK8 NTSC-U v4.0:

[0x4443BB4C] + 0x5020 = Player 1 X position.
[0x4443BB4C] + 0x5024 = Player 1 Y position.
[0x4443BB4C] + 0x5028 = Player 1 Z position.

Position values in float numbers. (Remember, Y is the vertical axis.)

Try this one, it handles complex pointer codes, it will deal with however many pointer in pointer references you throw at it. Currently it doesn't detect when you load a new level, but as long as your pointers handle that change, it will keep them going. Every once in awhile it will need to be closed out and restarted, still working on that. You need to include the offsets inside the brackets.

Examples:
[[3BCD01234 + 23] - 24] xxxxxxxx

[[3BCD01234] + 34] xxxxxxxx

[[3BCD0123]] xxxxxxxx

[3BCD0123] xxxxxxxx

3BCD0123 xxxxxxxx
still wont run for me =/ i get this

*nvm i manage to get it working! turns out my tcpgecko dotnet was still connected. Btw is there a way to make the recheat to poke every 20 seconds or something?

The item code works kinda like this:

[XXXXXXXX] + YY means that it's a pointer code. Tutorials here.

The item values are the following: http://www.mediafire.com/view/h6m429k3cxoyu67

The way it works it by writing the same value to all three pointers using for example the Cheat Code Loader.

Thanks for the video and explaining. I'm not sure if the cheat loader is working properly for me cause in his video it loads in cmd and lets you know, mine just exits very quickly? does it work on windows 8.1? I have Python 2.7 installed.

have you tried changing the ip address to your wii u ip address?

In the cheats app or on gecko?, Gecko runs fine but the cheats don't work not unless I type them in Gecko direct.
right click cheat.py, and edit it using something like Notepad++, scroll all the way down and you should see "rpc = TCPGecko('192.168.0.13')".
192.168.0.13 is what my wii u's current ip address.

Thanks. There was no explanation in the OP you had to do that bit.

I've read a few pages and couldn't find the information, is there a specific version the Wii U has to be on to use this?

Make sure you change the IP Address in line 76 to the IP address to your WII U's.

Its like in big bold letter's on the release thread.
Nah.. you've just copy & pasted that in and told me! :P Just joking, it was the bold letters that got me I was just being silly and blind I wasn't concentrating on the bold letters, its mad when things are right in front of your eyes but you just don't see it!

Here is a code for modifying player 1's current speed in MK8 v4.0 NTSC-U:

[[0x4596416C] + 0x24] + 0x2E8 = XXXXXXXX

Set XXXXXXXX to a float value.
-100 = 0xC2C80000
-10 = 0xC1200000
-5 = 0xC0A00000
0 = 0x00000000
5 = 0x40A00000
10 = 0x41200000
100 = 0x42C80000

Have fun! :yayu:

PS. to CosmoCortney: I already added this to the OP. ;)
Man I kind of wish I didn't spoof the 4.1 update :(
