Yes, that is the only method currently available.

Ok, I'm fine with that but the reason im using gecko.net's memory viewer is because jgecko u's memory viewer is blank when I open it. Do you know how to fix that because it wouldn't take nearly as long if I could use jgecko u just for the memory viewer.

I'd suggest using ZGecko, a modification of JGecko U I made a while back. You can find it here.

The memory viewer is still blank with zgecko :(... guess I'll just calculate the pointers I get... just one question: If I had, say, [[0x12345678]+0xAB]+0x40, would I find the value of the address 0x12345678, add an offset of 0xAB and find the value of the address I would get from that addition and then, finally, add an offset of 0x40 to that value and that'll be the address I'm looking for?

i'm stuck with this.
i've tried
00020000 3E7B2EA8
00000063 00000000
D0000000 DEADCAFE

00020000 3E7B2EA8
00000063 00000000
D1000000 DEADCAFE

00020000 3E7B2EA8
00000063 00000000

and all of them freeze. 3E7B2EA8 is the only address that keeps getting found and works when manually poked.
Anyone help me out?

If it doesn't work, use wj44.ml/k31 and wj44.ml/py for the old PyGecko. If you give me the values yielded from that, I can work from there.
it would be nice to have a PyGecko app to launch from HomeBrew Launcher instead of going to webpage and doing everything
