I would go count how many games there are in the dat, but it would take a long time to figure out which ones are missing. So, it's up to the community to report in

I don't know of any codes that are missing, save for some Japanese codes that had question marks in the titles. Popular (J) codes were left in by request even though they had ?????DS ???? in the titles, but others were removed. I still have the removed question mark (J) codes on my HD in case people want them re-added. You will have to request them by GameID though as the titles are unreadable. Non-working codes get removed as they are discovered.

Devastating online WiFi codes will not be added either. I don't condone cheating online. If people want those kinds of codes, they will have to find those themselves and add them to their own custom usrcheat.dat. This dat is meant to be a FUN dat to help people finish games they may be stuck in or to simply enhance their enjoyment, not dominate online play as that ruins the enjoyment for people who don't (or can't) cheat, not to mention screwing up Nintendo's online infrastructure. I won't be a part of that.

Local mutiplayer codes are OK though. I figure people can determine who's cheating locally and deal with them accordingly.

If anyone knows of codes that should be added that aren't already in there, let me know and I'll add them.

BTW, those Tony Hawk codes are already in there as of the latest dat, except for the trainer toolkit code, since they are useless to us anyway.

*Hallowed be the DAT* is the special name of today's update.

At my last count, there was nearly 500 games in the dat. Remember that there are many games that never had any codes made for them.

There's some oddball codes in there that don't work, specifically the backlight codes don't want to run. Removing them will make the dat run again (I'd repost the revision but I haven't got any time this morning).

RTC doesn't cause any problems. Hell, it could fix some problems.


And one hit kill works now - there's a new newer Ammo Maxed code but if you have Infinite Ammp, why bother?

Rayder, toenailed made a cool hack for Zelda, which is avialable as ARDS cheat. He does state clearly he wants to be credited. His website is: http://www.geocities.com/rex_eloy/lozbuttonhack.htm

Maybe you can add some small bits from the Readme.txt in the comment section of the cheat (button combo's, etc.)

Hmmm... Rayder, can you possibly include a changelog with your cheat.dat releases? I know it would be a little work but it'd be really useful for the people who want to add their own codes.

Oh, and do you need to encrypt the file for it to be able to work with the R4? Or does it need to be a usrcheat file if it isn't encrypted?
