Why on Earth do you want to know detailed differences between individual pops files? What do you want, HEX values?

they do different things... does it matter? they just have to work.

They don't do different things....these sorts of questions wouldn't exist if you waited a while and tried a few things out first. Each "pops" to be loaded requires a set of files, and those you've highlighted are amongst them. Individually they won;t do anything...
