That's not bad thing in my mind. It just shows how meaningful everybody thinks it is. People usually accuse pirates of being individualistic shits who don't care about anything. If it was so, people could have just said "bitch. moving on to Cyclo now". But I think a lot of users APPRECIATE that somebody is willing to slave coding hours so that we can have a better card. And maybe that's meaningful in some way.

When Normmatt announced he was 'quitting' I went to try out the official firmware, and it wasn't bad at all, especially if you're just loading games and not doing anything fancy. Don't think the Acekard's life is completely attached to AKAIO, it's a quality card with or without it.

I don't know if you have such expession in enligh, but in Spain we usually say "you don't know what you have until you lose it". That explains all the noise generated by recent news... I wouldn't imagine my acekard without akaio, and i believe i'm not the only one.

Anyways I never believed that Norm was seriously going to drop akaio. Especially since he said these things before and he still continued.
