yeah

but I still want Wii rather than Switch xD

some GameCube games were ported to Wii, but only seven of them :(

but I still play them xD (Mario Power Tennis, Pikmin 1, Pikmin 2, Donkey Kong: Jungle Beat and some GC Metroid games)

And I would honestly say that most of those were better off for it! Like I would MUCH rather play the Metroid Prime games with a Wii controller than the usual Gamecube layout, but maybe I'm just a weirdo

Well, good for you if you want to play some GC Metroid Prime games in Wii, you can get the New Play Control! versions of Metroid Prime or get Metroid Prime Trilogy (includes GC games Metroid Prime 1 & 2 and the Wii game Metroid Prime 3, all of them with Wii controls)

There's hope for a Xenosaga port.

To be honest, I loved the Wii, its motion controls, and the new type of immersion they provided back in the day with its early limited gyro technology. It was great, and I guess I should post this in the unpopular opinions thread, but no matter how much it may be hated it doesn't change the amount of enjoyment I extracted out of it; and this was only possible by making it the main and required type of controller, otherwise people wouldn't have put the effort to find ways to use it.

I like the GC but nope. I'm not sure where the Switch will land when it's eventually done, but so far nothing comes close to the SNES. It still holds up to this day, which I can't really say about the GC.
