NDS ones, yes, fair enough. Pokemon X/Y and all future Pokemon games? Well-within the realm of possibility. The Pokemon format has changed over time - new values were added periodically. There's absolutely no reason why future games shouldn't encrypt them, or even contemporary 3DS ones via patches. It's not rocket science, it's pure laziness.
Sure, why not. Gen 6 is already hacks-prone, since the 3ds itself (currently) is. Pokemon were already encrypted all the way from gen 4 (or 3?), and changed every time, but since one could look at the game code, the encryption could be reversed. Patching already existing games to add new values and stuff can be done, right, but what about pokemon existing before the patch? What about the ones on nintendo's servers too? It would be a massive amount of work to update all of them, and just to delay editing until the new values are documented.
They should have started fresh if they really wanted to fight pokemon generation of gen V and earlier pokemon. They rather wanted to have us transfer them over, so here we are.

Hacked Pokémon were already expected.
If the Pokémon is hacked but within the limits of what a legal Pokémon could have been, then it would be impossible to block it.
Pokémon Bank will only block the most absurd hacks, the great majority of hacked Pokemon will be transferable to X and Y easily.

Apparently, Italian games can connect to US PGL to download the DW Pokemon, then the dude captured it in Premier Ball.

According to Serebii.net, Sacred Move can be taught thru move tutor.

As for the Torterra, that one is a hack. Where's the ball?! and ID 00001?!
That one, should have been EASY to block.

And the problem is that, it doesn't.
A DW shiny torterra got transferred and that is flat out illegal because a DW version hasn't been released yet.
Also the pokéball is nowhere to be found.
I also spotted a lvl 1 gengar being transferred. A fucking lvl 1 gengar. LOL
It seems that pokebank doesn't check the lvls and pokeballs anymore, clearly a downgrade from the old checks.

Pokéball does not show up when viewing the Summary in certain places.
Also, >implying an ID number of 00001 is impossible

The problem with that one is that it has its Dream World ability. A shiny DW Ability Torterra is impossible.
And it has a ribbon that it shouldn't have.

nintendo has pulled the pokebank down from Japan for downloading, and delayed the US/euro release...

It has been pulled from the Japanese eShop because of server strain.

The Europe and USA release dates are still unconfirmed to be affected by this. The only way to find out is to wait until the 27th, provided that the eShop is even friggen up. I think this has a connection to Pokemon Bank being under a server crash.

Also If you wanna hack Pokemon into your game, go for it. Just please don't generate "illegal" Over-Powered monsters and use them in competitions.

if u can get into to eshop if your lucky, the date for the pokebank this morning said 12/27.. but if you check now, that date was changed to TBD..

well, the majority of people from what I see agreed that legal hacks would go through. It was mostly the over senesitive anti-hackers that were screaming that no hacks would go through because of Nintendo's "better" hack detection

You guys are missing something.

The hacked pokemon making it through are legal ones, ones with stats that are perfectly do-able in game, especially now with super training.
There's absolutely no problem, pokemon with illegal stats/moves never made it onto the online infrastructure of BW anyway. I dont see why people are so hot and bothered

That's not true, Orange Beard.
What about the shiny DW Ability Torterra with a Premier ribbon?

Even if they wanted us to start fresh, I imagine the shitstorm not being able to transfer would cause would be rather massive.

But you're saying that the hacked Pokémon making it through are the legal ones, which is not true.

Oh, I count "illegal" purely as having illegal stats/moves, things that specific pokemon simply cannot do.
Dream word abilities still count as legal in my mind, and clearly game freaks, as they're programmed into the game.
A bit like me having an Arceus, I got it by action replaying the item to battle it in diamond so its legal, but of course I had to generate the item to do so

you obviously have no clue what "legal" really is, if you actually tried taking these pokemon to the GTS on 4th or 5th gen you would get an error code due to the hack check, pokemon bank was suppose to be a clone, it needed to check if the PID is valid and if it matches the iv's as well as the correct date met for generating that specific PID for 4th gen pokemon, moves and abilities that are available and met place and at xx lv and so on, the game actually checked everything, but as for bank its obviously just lazy programming...

Well it probably lets those through because they can always release a DW ability Turtwig in the future. That lv.1 Gengar is just top lel, though.

That would imply that they got a static detector. While they actually should have an update-able detector.
