Sorry, noob question. Wouldn't the hashes be similar, if not the same due to the games being similar in and of themselves? The hashes are the same as the eShop preload, so yeah that's probably just it.

He did, but I think he isn't going to do that for piracy stuff. Also, he said it's about Pokemon, so, I think he just wants to play early, not to directly help the ones that downloaded cias. It's encryption, you can't just 'bypass' needing a key for something. There's various analysis on certain types of AES encryption to the point where you can possibly decipher the original data, but in this case you cannot get the original data without having the key, which requires the seed.
Plus smea wouldn't advertise being able to do that, he's against piracy.
Oh alright. Sorry, a little unfamiliar with this type of stuff.if it has the seed it has more content than the preload copy so the hashes should be different
it wouldn't have the seed because if it had any chance of being legit it'd be a converted .3ds fileif it has the seed it has more content than the preload copy so the hashes should be different
As I said. I haven't bothered with it at all. It's encryption, you can't just 'bypass' needing a key for something. The only time a hash would ever match is if the content is 100% exactly the same. Even if one byte is different, the hash will be different.Oh alright. Sorry, a little unfamiliar with this type of stuff.
Yes he's smea but you're confusing his seed thing, it's for save files or somethingAs I said. I haven't bothered with it at all.
I've read someone saying smea found something for seed bypassing.
And smea is smea. Wouldn't surprise me if he found a way to rebuild parts.
I mean people were able to download Sun/Moon from the eshop before the preload.
I have not bothered with the way it is seed encrypted. Nor have I bothered to check how it reads to decrypt it.
I never said smea would put a guide on how to pirate pokemon.
Good to know, thanks! The only time a hash would ever match is if the content is 100% exactly the same. Even if one byte is different, the hash will be different.
In any case he's 100% referring to HANS for people who have bought the game and once the seed is out, and nothing further. Encryption doesn't work that way, you can't do magic on it and bypass security measures unless the measures were flawed in the first place. Even if people grab files off eShop, they're encrypted until the seed releases. As I said. I haven't bothered with it at all.

That's the most likely scenario. Would be nice to get it sooner though.i think a leak is unlikely this week we might have to wait next week
So is this fake?gonna decrypt this and check the banner file
lets see how it goes
Essentially. Is just the pre load.So is this fake?
it's the preload .ciaSo is this fake?
