I would buy a remake of Silver in a heartbeat. In my eyes, Silver and Gold were the best of the series. The day/night system, the fact that the game had everything Red and Blue had, and more, all of it was just fantastic. If this is true, I will physically pre-order this game. There hasn't been a Pokemon game that has interested me really, since Silver & Gold. Ah yes, I remember back in the day, I pre-ordered Silver some 2 or 3 years in advance. It was a glorious day when they finally arrived.

Oh God, if only this was true. I still have my original Gold version. It's the ONLY other Pokemon game I remotely liked other than D/P.

I know how you feel. I still hold onto the belief that some day they will make it, but it's probably a long ways off. :'( Oh well, I have enough games to play as it is.

Yes!, this would be sweet!!
In fact I wanted to play Pkm Diamond, that is why I never sold my old GBA SP. Now I can finally play FireRed and LeafGreen =).
I'm one of those guys that never plays a sequel without playing the original game =(

There's always that homebrew thingy game called Pokemon: Shiny Gold. I don't know how good it is though, considering it's not an official game or anything.

And yes, she is quite correct. It was based on the GBA engine. Homebrew off course.

Omg, really hope they do remake these. But with a new battle system, D/P sucked cause the battles took like 10mins. Seriously you select a attack and it takes likes 3 seconds to do it. Very noticible if you have played R/S/E just before.

I spent sooo much time on my Pokemon Gold. Caught all the Pokemon, all the variants of the Unowns, did everything. Probably even started again one or two times. I would love to play a remake of that.

Yes, i know what you mean, it was horrible at first, but you get use to it I guess.

Let's hope they adjust the difficulty of that hidden continent if so. It was weird seeing wild Pokemon near their original RGBY levels, trainers using ones in the 20-30 range, and your team being typically 35+. Check out Route 1 or 2...

Um, guys? I'm guessing many of you haven't read a lot of the replies. That image is a hoax. I have no doubt they'll make it some day, but the one in this particular topic is fake.

then we would see the same thing happen on here like not too long ago when a certain Zelda: Phantom Hourglass was released.

We wouldn't want that now would we
