Gaming Pokemon Silver/Gold Remakes?

You're thinking of Red and Blue, they were for Gameboy.

Omg, really hope they do remake these. But with a new battle system, D/P sucked cause the battles took like 10mins. Seriously you select a attack and it takes likes 3 seconds to do it. Very noticible if you have played R/S/E just before.

I found the battles in D/P to go much faster than those in R/S/E. Did you set your battle animations off and the text to scroll fast?

I would love a Gold/Silver remake.

I'm almost 100% sure that those images are fake. HOWEVER, I'd bet A LOT that there WILL be remakes indeed coming. I wouldn't expect it soon, but I'm sure it WILL happen. And I can't wait for them as I loved those versions the most of the whole Pokemon series. So here's to hoping it'll happen!

I want it now! Pokemon Gold was the first Pokemon game I reached to the end and kept playing it for ages until I got like 200 pokemons and gave up!

Actually, the R/S/E battles went a LOT faster. He's comparing them WITH animations off. Pokemon without the battle animations is like... not even worth it at all.

After watching the moves do similar graphics. And after watching it 1000 times, it gets repetitive and redundant. I turn if off 'cause it wastes time.

I can't remember how many times I wanted the battles to end. Especially during the Elite Four on Diamond; then I found out that you could turn the animations off -- which made the game much much better.

So hope nintendo makes a silver or gold remake, they are my favorites in the series.

its kind of scary how people can spend like 100hrs playing a pokemon game to get these 'ev points' or something.. its just freakish =/ when completing the game with the slow battle system was annoying enough

For the full hardcore Wi-Fi battlers, spending 100 hours on EV training, is nothing. I know a few people who have clocked up 250-300+ hours. Crazy it is. And i put my money on it there are few a few who have clocked up 450+.

The Pokemon TCG game was horrible.. And so is the real card game.

G/S/C rocks.. I don't see a remake in the future though.
