But I'm not doing anything in RAM at all with rumble world because, if you'd read any of my posts on the topic, you'd also know that the offsets of those data in ram are DYNAMIC, and therefore arcodes created for them are 3ds-specific (and often boot-specific), and so cannot be shared.

yes you need to use same method as markio kart unlock everything (code.bin) for dynamic address

I used savedatafiler to export my save, but I don't have the 00main.dat file. this is what I have:

I also get an Extdataboss folder that is also named 00001646, but is also empty.

Could someone help me figure out what I'm exporting incorrectly?

Look inside that folder, silly.

Y+A? I only have "X: Delete this Extdata", and "Y: export this ext save data to SD Card", is there a newer version of savedatafiler out that I'm not aware of?

Are you sure you're exporting the save and not exporting the extdata? They're different things.

You're in the wrong tab. That's the second tab. You need the first one. You need to load Pokemon Rumble World into the RAM (don't have to open it, just select it through the multirom menu), go to SDF, select the CRT card, press Y, then A.

You were both correct. I've only ever used this tool to export extdata, so I hadn't ever used the actual savedata export option. I've got it figured out now and I can't wait for the toy editing option to be released. Thank you again.
