I don't understand why they didn't implement wifi battles with random people rather than with HAVING to have friend codes

Pokemon is generally target for kids even though we play it. Maybe they want the kids to be safe or something. This includes all other games. I dunno lol.

Edit: Oh and doesnt pokemon support wifi chatting? Maybe thats why.

They could've taken the wifi chat out to make battles with everyone...

Yes the people seem real. When I see their locations on the globe they're ALL from Japan. Except this girl in California (she pirated it too I guess ^^ )

Their servers are up for Japan, maybe we can use them too?

Go downstairs of the pokemon center and talk to the first on the right...she should let you connect to wifi...

Wierd....i can do Wifi trades fine, but i cant get into the Plaza, it just keeps connecting, even the japanese version worked fine (Yet it wouldnt let me trade)

Go to the GTS building. There's a globe on the first level. Click it and select your country.
