Hi, basically I was wondering if anybody else was having the same problem as me, I'm trying to use some AR codes for Pokemon Platinum, most codes work but any code that requires a button press (i.e. L + select) doesn't seem to work at all. So I can use every code that doesn't require a button press in-game, but the ones that need a specific button or combination of buttons to be pressed just don't work. Has anybody else encountered this?

I was really hoping to get the "Wild Pokemon Modifier (calculator)" code working, but as I stated above...

FYI I'm using DS Real with Sakura 1.35 Firmware

Maybe you have got a non-working code or it is for a different region. Double check if you have enabled cheats for Platinum. Don't use soft-reset after launching the game as this will currently break the code feature.

This is the Wild Pokemon Modifier for US Platinum:

Code:
94000130 FDFF0000
B2101D40 00000000
D9000000 00111D10
C0000000 0000000C
DC000000 00000004
D6000000 000233E8
D1000000 00000000
C0000000 0000000A
D6000000 000233E8
D2000000 00000000

Enter the National Dex number of the desired Pokemon in the calculator (with leading zeros, 001 = Bulbasaur, ..., 493 = Arceus), then press L and walk around in wild grass.

As a side note, please be aware that almost all Pokemon caught this way are easily identifiable as being hacked.

Thanks for the help. I put the code in my cheat file but still none of the button codes seem to work. Puzzling. I had the same problem with button press codes on Pokemon Diamond too, yet every other DS game worked fine in that regard.

90% of the codes for all Pokemon games uses Type B AR Code while most other games only use regular codes, the reason the Pokemon codes don't work for you is because the Sakura version you're currently using is the version where they broke the Type B AR code
get the newest official version from the official site should solve your problems:
http://www.handheldsources.com/M3DS/Download_M3DSR.html
M3Sakura Ver1.35 X The 3rd Edition Europe/USA Version
