May i ask how you're editing the text? Which compression is used and which files are holding the text?

Use a Hex Editor.
Unpack the rom with DSbuff or DSLazy.

I heard the text was compressed. But, if it's not, where (in the files) it is?

Thank you for this, and happy birthday. When do you think you will release version three? Also, are you going to translate the Platinum-exclusive text? I have not read all of the thread, so forgive me if you or someone else has already answered the question. Also, I noticed something else in-game. When you go through Jublife City for the second time and do a double battle with Lucas/Dawn against Team Galactic, the text isn't what it's supposed to be, I think. It also goes really fast and doesn't give me a chance to really read it. None of the other text in-game does that so far.

Mafi, seriously, STOP ASKING. Rykin and I have repeated this throughout the thread; DON'T ASK WHEN THE NEXT RELEASE WILL BE. He's a real person, you know. He's not a computer. He does have more important things to do that sit around all day on his chair editing Platinum for us. When the patch is ready for the public, he'll release.

And also, please don't ask him to give you an early patch -.- If you do, he's just gonna ignore you even more.

I tried dragging a freshly downloaded rom to the patch, but it gave me a "you have no permission" fail thingy. I'm not using Vista. Should I try using the 2nd method?
