There is a guy by the restoration machine there, not sure if it has to how far you have to get into the game. but it is on the second floor under the director office.

There's a guy standing next to the machine. I don't remember but it may have been a side quest because he sends you to go get your first fossil

Yea there is also a quest but if you buy the fossil ahead of time you can do it in reverse.

Does anybody know how to trigger Inkay's evolution into Malamar ? I've tried beating a wild Pokémon with it while holding the Switch upside down so the EXP gets it to the next level, but to no avail

Yeah i see now. x.x When i tested my pokemon stayed after restart but that pokemon must have been a legit shiny i had spawn in that moment

Any update on this ? Would love my party Pokemon to be shiny

Bro i beat the game using some cheats and closed it last night and my save got corrupted, i have a backup from rank d, but don't wanna redo hours of the game, is waiting for pkhex my only option?

If it is story you probably have to replay, always backup your save before messing with cheats, the game doesn't like people messing with game data.

yeah it is the story but i think the 999xl candy corrupted my save so storywise should be fine i think

Force shiny works but when I relaunch the game they are returned as non shiny. Playing on console, is this the sam3 for everyone else?
