Hey, I got it to work. Mistook an "8" for a "B." Will the shinies that I catch in the wild be recognized as legal or hacked if I use them in wifi?

yea used my Shinies in wifi and had no problems

Is there any place specifically I can go to see what phrases I can use? Unsure of exactly where all the NPCs are that ask about stuff are.

The code to encounter Shiny pokemon does not work on my Soul Silver. This is the same code I have seen on a few other site, but they list that it is for the Japanese version, not the US version. Anyone have the code for the US version? Or do you have to hit/hold a button to get it to work?

I just typed it in for my SoulSilver [English], and it worked perfectly fine; don't know what's up with yours. You probably missed a digit or something? :\


~On another note, I tried out the Groudon/Kyogre Rebattle code... Didn't work. All it did was reactivate Rayquaza instead. Is there a workaround for that...?
UPDATE: Nevermind, code works now... You actually have to press START+SELECT while inside the Embedded Tower, exit, re-enter, and Groudon/Kyogre should be there. :]

Does anyone have any codes for seals? It seems like the ONLY way to acquire seals in this game is talking to some girl in Olivine once a day for 3 random seals. Sure I can reset the clock but this is a huge pain and it will likely take hours and hours of resetting to get all the seals I need. If anyone has a code or even just the hex addresses in the save file that would be awesome.

you should see at least 3 ? slots

Damn that sucks. I love the lance battle music, it's so epic. I've tried everything I can think of - Start+B in the wild, in the middle of a battle, as entering a battle...

hmmmm still no.
If im in my inventory and I do it, I get the pokeballs but I once I leave the inventory it crashes.

EDIT:
Now for some reason my game won't even turn on with that one cheat enabled.

if you download the cheat database
you will see

two folders and see the following code
Battle The Pokemon You Want
-[L+R] You get 493 Master Ball and then Hold L for Encounter

Wild PKMN Level Modifier
-[L+R] You get 100 Ultra Ball then Hold L for Encounter

breaking the codes might help..
if this doesn't fix much of the problem
you should write to SC and ask them to fix their firmware

or

try use those FIXED level codes + [L+R] You get 493 Master Ball and then Hold L for Encounter
