I manually inserted the "GB Music AKA GB Player" code into the xml..

you need to ACTIVATE IT via L+R go to GREENMAN and collect it!

Pre-ordered a DSi XL, so I went ahead and bought an Acekard 2i today, so I'd have a compatible one. I used a CycloDS for my DSi. The Acekard came in today, and I just finished setting it up.

Now Nitro Hax is freezing every time I open a cheat folder. Fuuuuu. God just doesn't want me to nostalgia.

The Nitro Hax + Acekard is a problem for another day. Popped in the CycloDS. Sure enough, there was the green man.

I would.. but.. retail cart.

I ordered that stupid NDS Backup Plus accessory for the sole purpose of ripping my save, and console sources held on to it for two weeks before shipping it. So I suppose in a bit I'll be able to cut out the middle man and just use AKAIO.

Nothing's been easy, lately.

That doesn't let me edit my cheat_en.db file. I want to just add-on to my currenty cheat file, not have to make a brand new one.

hate to bother you all, but I'm kinda new to all of this DS code scene, got an acekard 2i and use R4cce to edit my databases, I've done it before and it worked and I got the "L+R for XXX masterballs YYY ultraballs, discard and hold L for modified encounter" working, so I know I'm "doing it right"

the problem: when I put the codes in my usrcheat.dat and pop my microSD into my acekard it all goes swell, until I open the cheat menu on SoulSilver, then it freezes. when its just "wild pokemon mod" its fine, but adding just about anything else freezes it up, anyone know what I need to do, all I really want to accomplish it the nintendo event cheats and I'll be satisfied

thats no way to update a cheat.db directly
you have to maintain your usrcheat and save it as .db

I haven't used it on my DSi XL yet, being that I pick it up Sunday. Maybe the CycloDS and I had a special connection, but I don't really like the Acekard as much. The AK2i doesn't seem as polished as the CycloDS. It weirded me out putting it in and getting a "System Files are missing" message.. with no notice that I had to download installation files from the site onto the root of my SD card. Everything with CycloDS was just so seemless. I don't really like it much aesthetically, either. But I'm sure it'll grow on me, and these are only nitpicky things. It flashes my games and homebrew just fine, so I guess that's all that really matters.

Besides, it's compatible with the DSi, whereas CycloDS has yet to show anything besides a video. SO. It'll do.

but, could you elaborate, link me to something that already elaborated, or give me something to search for, anything to reduce the number of things I have to do to learn, because it takes me forever to do anything, I'm sorta not even able to boot my pc, I'm running via safemode

Mm, Yet another quick question... In regards to the Music Mod code(s), do they permanently change the music in the game, or does it change it temporarily until you switch off the AR codes?

all codes other then stats related should be temporary
so after you swtich off the code and reset, everything should return to square 1
