Hacking Pokemon Emerald ROM white screen

Hi,

Whenever I try to play any Pokemon Emerald ROM off my R4i Gold Pro it gives me a white screen and a bunch of numbers after the "jump to (021343000)" line. I've tried multiple different ROMs, but none seem to be working. Although each would work when I threw it into the VisualBoyAdvance on my PC. I'm using gbaemu4ds for the emulator if that helps.

FYI I'm pretty new to all of this so don't dig into me.

While I can't help with your issue as far as running it off an R4 card, I can offer you an alternative way to play GBA on your 3ds. You can make your own Virtual Console cias to install directly on your 3ds using this program linked below.

Compatibility is pretty good and have had no issues playing Emerald on my 3ds with it. Can patch it for sleep mode, as the GBA VC by default doesn't support it.

There is also this program, that does the same thing as above but is focused on specifically GBA. Both should work but I know the former is newer than this.

I'm assuming you are running CFW on your 3ds. If not, you will need to do that in order to run and install your own VC games.
