Pokemon Black/White Coming to US March 6th

REDMOND, Wash., Dec. 27, 2010 - Nintendo of America today announced that the Pokémon™ Black Version and Pokémon White Version video games will launch in North America on March 6, 2011. The games, playable exclusively on the Nintendo DS™ family of systems, are a completely new adventure that Pokémon fans old and new can embark on. Pokémon Black Version and Pokémon White Version introduce more than 150 new Pokémon and a new region to explore.

Pokémon Black Version and Pokémon White Version let players start with one of three new Starter Pokémon - the Grass-type Snivy™, the Fire-type Tepig™ or the Water-type Oshawott™. Until the main story of the game is complete, every Pokémon that players encounter will have never been seen before in previous Pokémon games. The games also feature original boy and girl trainers who set out on an adventure in the new Unova region.

I already enjoyed the translated japanese game, just without knowing what the story was.
Definitely buying this so I can enjoy it again, might even buy both versions.

To be honest, I didn't play through the story with the English translation. But, somehow I still feel like I ruined the sense of adventure for me when the official release comes.

The day the temp crashed...

No it'll probably be released a couple days early like all Pokemon games but I think the Temp learned its lesson when Pokemon Platinum & GTA: CW came out in the same weekend and the servers crashed. From then on, they maintenanced the servers and they've been smooth ever since. But then again... this is a new gen of Pokemon, so who knows.

hopefully after 2-3 months smogon will have tier list.

True true, I remember when SS/HG came out with its mind-blowing AP. The only card that was working at the time was AKAIO so there will A LOT of AP threads. One of the mods posted of a picture of the deleted threads forum that only mods could see and most of it was about Pokemon.

Even though nowadays I don't care about Pokémon too much if I have money at that time I might buy it (and a new DS, assuming the 3DS hasn't launched by then).
