Use the 2CH patch above on a clean, untrimmed ROM. Although trimming the ROM isn't recommended, trimming apparently is possible.

Well this sucks. I don't really feel like searching through all those pages to find the details for each flashcart.

Oh well, I'm sure by now the vast majority of people who really care about it have already gotten it working on their flashcart. All you really need is a clean ROM, the 2CH patch and the latest firmware. It's only a matter of time before the major flashcarts receive updates and will be able to run the clean ROM without the patch.
