PP has a set of translation patches that keep the Pokemons' names in Japanese. Don't know how Pokecheck would deal with those, though.

I am in need of assistance. I have an r4i 3ds (SDHC) and I can get the game to play well, no freezes during the game, pokemon summary is good but one big problem to me is that saving freezes on me. Sometimes I can only save once and if i try again, it just freezes. I'm using TTDS to run Pokemon Black 2. I also did a quick format to see if that was the problem but wasnt. I can't enjoy the game as much because of the saving. So I would appreciate it alot.
Oh and I'm using the Translation Patch v1.3 as of now.
& I'm also having problems running Black 2 on my r4 using r4 Wood 1.49. And I do have the soft reset + cheats off. but still freezes when i check my pokemon. but im not using 1.3 instead im using 1.2

For R4 wood users having freezing issues with the C-Gear, I found a fix on a Chinese forum. You need to install a version of YsMenu with some AP fix stuff added.

For R4 users:

(I tried this on my original R4 with wood menu installed, using the 1.4 translation patch, works fine but can't soft reset)

I'm not familiar with other flash carts so you're on your own for those.

Remember to disable cheats and in-game resetting!

Can anybody help me with my problems? My R4i-SDHC (3DS) runs the game flawlessly using TTMenu, but the problem is, it won't save. When I try to save, it freezes, and the music continues. The book and pencil don't move. HALP!

I just made it work on R4i SDHC RTS Lite Silver from www.r4isdhc.com (not the 2012 new version) with the latest original firmware that they provide. Reset ingame is off.

I'm using R4i Ultra (kernel 1.56), but it isn't loading any of those roms. I've tried to install YS Menu for R4 Clones, but when I enter YsMenu.nds and load any rom I get an error such as: "Unsupported DLDI Name" . I've already the both roms v4 patched and translated. Can u help me fix that? thankss

So I found something interesting yesterday. You apparently can soft reset. I'm using translation patch 1.3 with r4. Even though you disable AR and SR in the r4 wood menu, if you actually try SRing in game, it actually works. Anyone else try this yet?

Still looking for a way to get AR codes to work though.

On a side note, just beat third gym. Team is Espeon lv. 25, Lucario lv. 26, Trapinch lv. 21. Just ditched starter before gym. Anyone know if you can catch Pupitar before going to the Elite Four? Trying to get my team to be Starmie, Espeon, Lucario, Tyrannitar, Flygon, and Haxorus before then.

I have disable cheating un-checked and the game works fine, but I too can SR with it disabled.

Just trashed Burgh, with Lucario it's fairly easy.

My team so far:
Lucario Lv25
Wotter Stage 2 Lv23
Flaffy Lv24
HM SLAVE Lv3

Intend to get:
Lapras
Haxorus
Flygon
Chandelure

But I don't know which one to omit! I already trained Haxorus in White, but Flygon is 4X weak to Ice.

Give that Lucario Ice Punch and Dig, and he can trash a lot of things.
Elesa, Clay, Skyla, Drayden, Lucario took the bulk of them out hella easy that way.
Hope you've got the red shards for it when you visit Driftveil City.

Oh and here's an idea, fill up empty team spaces with Lillipup that have the ability pick-up.
They occasionally give goodies like repels or escape ropes or potions which is handy, even scored a Kings Rock.

If you need a flying Pokémon, Flygon fills that role very nicely.
