No, it works. Just not for all flashcarts.
If you tried everything and it still fails, then there's no fix for your flashcart yet.
Make sure you don't use the same rom each time you try a new patch. Always start over with a clean rom or it will never work.

Yeah, it just goes to the black loading screen and sits there.

For clarification, this is an Acekard 2(.1), not an Acekard 2i.
