Use AP patch v2 and RetroGameFan Multi Cart v6.80 (DO NOT use the v6040 DAT, v6.80 can run Pokemon Black/White 2). It worked for me.

Black screen with "loading" in white letters
Here comes the R4 Revolution for DS v1.34 menu screen with Games, Multimedia and Slot-2.
I just select "Games". Then I select woodr4sdhc.nds and it will launch it. After that you have to go to your game folder, select Pokemon Black 2.nds, hit Y, then Y again for settings, R to navigate to the next tab, "Cheat In Game (AR)" "Off", and "Reset In Game" "Off". Hit A, A again, and A to finally launch the game

Hmmm.. I just formatted my R4 and tried that again, but now this happens when I try and launch that woodr4.nds file :s

Hey, you need to put the original firmware first into your flashcart. You SUUUUUUURE you have THIS card ->

If not you'll have to use another firmware. In any case, the WoodR4 SDHC website I linked is for THIS card ONLY, and upon that, you need to have the original firmware as well, and then copy paste the files from that website onto your flashcart.

This is an R4 i SDHC (R4 Upgrade).... I think I saw something for this but not sure :/

I'm using the latest YSmenu (v6.80) and it's working flawlessly. Are you sure you have the latest?

Yes, I'm sure. I just updated it and I've tried a clean version AND a version with the v2 AP. They both load up, with or without Soft Reset disabled, and they BOTH give me a black screen at the Press Start screen with some sound in the background.

My rom's CRC is A2517C73 and it works fine. Dunno if it's patched, but I didn't patch it myself, so it's hopefully clean.

Ah Ah I'm glad someone with R4SDHC Revolution could get WoodR4 1.42 and enjoy it as I do Too bad the guy on that website didn't update it to 1.49 (or any newer version than 1.42) but I didn't get any trouble for latest games (like Devil Survivor 1, 2 for exemple) you just have to apply AP patches (or Hex Editing) and / or use codes (or turn off AR codes actually in this case)

Anyone with TTMenu successfully get the game to work past the Intro? Black Screen with sound at Start Screen so far on my end. x-x

I'm using the latest YSmenu (v6.80) and it's working flawlessly. Are you sure you have the latest?

Yes, I'm sure. I just updated it and I've tried a clean version AND a version with the v2 AP. They both load up, with or without Soft Reset disabled, and they BOTH give me a black screen at the Press Start screen with some sound in the background.

My rom's CRC is A2517C73 and it works fine. Dunno if it's patched, but I didn't patch it myself, so it's hopefully clean.

What program do you use to check the CRC?

Played on my Supercard DS ONEi;
I'm getting random freezes still and when I check summary it freezes as well.

Firmware version: DSONE SDHC Evolution V1.0 eng sp6 2012-05-21

EDIT:
Actually, i was apparently using the previous AP version.
The game doesn't freeze at summary anymore on Supercard DSONEi

Hello! My Black 2 rom freezes randomly. Is there anything I can do to prevent that? Because sometimes in battle it ferezes and everytime I check my pokemon.. it freezes.. it is very annoying! I hope you can help me!! I play on desmume!
