It works 100% with acekard 2i, I don't know what's up with people saying it doesn't. Mine, my brother's, and my cousin are all playing the new games on them.

Are you sure? How far are you into the game? Also, did you patch the game or no? What settings do you have set on your Acekard 2i for this game?

Few hours late, but...

On all three acekards I have it set to the default settings, cheats are on (though there are none active, just the setting is on), soft reset is on. They seem to run like regular games now.

I've just beaten Elesa, my cousin is wandering Castelia sewers, and my brother... is a retard so he's lost. But I have a playtime of like 8 hours already on the patch.

This is the latest patch from 2CH. It fixes all freezes, stat screen errors, and C-Gear for most cards. It does not have the translation included, and isn't compatible with the translations. The makers of the translations will have to add the AP fix on their own.

1. Drag your clean, unpatched ROM onto the .exe file provided in this download.
2. A bx will pop up, with yes or no options. This is asking if you would like to create a backup of the original file. I recommend clicking yes.
3a. It will create a .bak file, which is the original ROM that you had. Leave it there. The .nds file is the patched one.
3b. Put it on your flashcard/load it on your emulator and pray to Arceus that it works!

Boggle with the R4DSs Wood settings. Turn everything off.

Actually, yes. I don't know too much about patching and if I knew how to make one, I wouldn't ask. I saw something about a .narc file that makes it "act" like a clean rom but I couldn't find it in the 200 pages of forum. That and I don't recognize what to use to appy said .narc file.
I just wanted to ask for some help, because I don't know how to read the game's text, and it would be very helpful to at least be able to know what attack my pokemon is about to use. Thank you.

Well it works, but there are random freezes, and when I went to check the status of a pokemon, bam, black screen.
However there are no experience limitations

R4-SDHC - Working Details

So far working without any problems on the R4-SDHC, finished the first trainer battle.
Running r4 for clones with the setting of the wood 1.49 and the latest patch for the game.

This is not true as you can't run Wood R4 1.49 on SDHC >_> He's using a R4 clone

seems to work (launches at least) with cheats and soft rest off (with WoodR4 SDHC 1.42)

You can actually, just copy the _rpg folder from the wood r4 1.49 and paste it to your sd card, overwriting all the previous files.

gonna try this out then ! I was certain the updates were in the DAT (or .nds) files
