Gaming Pokemon black huge lag with c-gear turned on and can't save

On my 3DS All of a sudden my Pokemon black lags a lot a few seconds after the game starts just before the c-gear menu shows up (with ir, online, power off all that stuff), when I hit X the is a 1 second delay before the pause menu shows up, when I go into the save menu there are some question marks in the date and time, if I try to save the game freezes (it doesn't go black or anything I can see the game but cant do anything). This exact problem happened with white 2, I wasn't every far into the game so i just started again, it works fine but i don't have the c-gear yet I don't want to start black again because I've finished it and have tonnes of awesome Pokemon.

Edit: I forgot to say that it works fine with the c-gear off.

Yeah, its a general problem, I've seen it on dstt's too
Which flashkart?(the real ds games shouldn't lag :$)

No flashcart, I'm playing off the original retail cartridge on my 3ds
