please someone answer my question as probablly others are having the same thing:


I started a new game and beat the first trainer then I went outside the first village and my moves and everything else went back to japanese again. can someone please tell me why?

I have a cyclo ds ( FW B.4) and it doesn't work ...

( the game patched onto eng)
What's he problem? How can I play with pokemon black /white with this eng patch on my cyclods?

Are you using the patch with the EXP fix?
If not, try it.

I used the rakuraku patch and the rom works fine but it's only JAP..
This Eng patch doesn't work... there's a Version with the exp and the Eng patch for the cyclo ds?

I have a supercard one not sure about the firmware but it says dsi one when I turn it one (IT IS NOT A SUPER CARD ONE I THOUGH)

I might as well help out with some info.


Cyclods with the newest firmware, and I'm using black version. The images seem to work, like the title screen and the little banner's for type that go with the attacks, but none of the text gets translated.

Go to 'Options' in the Pokemon game, then the 5th option down make sure 'Normal' is selected.

In Pokemon Black and White, the (J) version of the game has two versions of the language, romaji and kanji (I believe). The translation team decided to focus on translating the romaji text files of the game.

Hopefully when v4 of the patch is released, Kaarosu will release a changelog of what is done so far.

In patched, I'm guessing you mean translated. And so far all the original move names have been translated. The new moves have been translated but not all of them to the names we understand. All of the move descriptions should be translated.

Version 3 added the title screen update, starting text, pokedex, and PC box translations. At least that's what I believe from testing and can remember. The pokedex and PC box translations aren't complete though.

alright good to know. i am still wondering why in options I need to change the 5th option to normal? and can i use my same save?
